An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a teenage girl who was believed to have taken ecstasy.
Sophie Leigh Balmer, 18, from Walton, Merseyside, died in hospital in the early hours of Sunday.
Police believe she had taken a green-coloured ecstasy tablet known as Rockstar shortly before her death.
The man from Litherland was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
Police a the post-mortem examination on Miss Balmer would take place later.
Merseyside Police warned people not to take the green-coloured pill as a "precautionary measure" following her death.
